Amanda Menicacci

Amanda Menicacci is a dynamic and talented hairdresser who has forged an internationally recognised career through her ability and passion for her craft.

She began her hairdressing career in her hometown of Adelaide in 1997. In 2001 she flew to London to work with international company TONI&GUY. Based at the flagship store in Kensington, Amanda was quickly recognized for her talents, and it wasn’t long before she was lecturing at the TONI&GUY training academy.

Being made part of the elite International Art Team meant that along with teaching all major course components at the Academy, Amanda also represented TONI&GUY at London Fashion Week.

It was while teaching at the Academy that Amanda met Cristiano, and it was love at first sight! It wasn’t long until they tied the knot, and decided together that they wanted Adelaide to be their home. Moving here in 2005, they opened Adelaide ‘s TONI&GUY store in North Adelaide, following that with a store in Norwood.

Amanda is passionate about every facet of hairdressing, and customer service and her favourite thing is to work with her clients to bring to life their own individual sense of style.

Cristiano Menicacci

Cristiano was born and raised in beautiful Florence, Italy, where he began his career in hairdressing after he left school. Like Amanda, he moved to London in search of adventure – he first became a stylist at renowned London salon “Antenna” before becoming a teacher at the hair cutting course at Pinewood Film Studios.

After deciding he wanted to spend his life with Amanda, Cristiano followed his heart and moved to Adelaide where the couple went into business together opening TONI&GUY in north Adelaide .

Even as owner and business manager, Cristiano continued to follow his passion for hairdressing, working extensively with clients and gaining recognition as Wella Trends Vision award winner in 2008! Also in 2010, Cristiano was named the SA finalist in the Men’s category for the Australian Hairdresser of the Year Awards. He has also worked on stage alongside Amanda.

After years of working within the TONI&GUY family, in 2013, Cristiano and Amanda were thrilled and excited to open “Artillery” – their first salon as a husband and wife team.

What Cristiano loves the most about his career is working in the salon with his clients where he can be more creative, and develop and extend his true passion is short hair!
